The second meeting of Work Package 1 took place on February 9, 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, still there wasn’t the possibility to physically meet in the same place, so partners participated through conference call (MS Teams).
The meeting was leading by Annabelle Sion (PLA) – WP1 leader. For the beginning, she presented a new project leader – Katharina Schöps. From now Katharina will coordinate the implementation of the project. Then she talked a current stage of WP1 over.
First step of work will be an identification of the market opportunities in targeted countries: USA and Japan as mature markets, India and Latin America as less mature markets. To do this, each partner had to provide the following information: information on contacts available in the targeted countries: associations, clusters, chamber of commerce, etc. and gather information already available on market opportunities.
In next part of meeting, Dorols Pla (MAV) presented a draft of questionnaire template that will eventually be completed by each of the partners. Based on that, an internal workshop will took place on March 17, 2021 in order to map the competences available of the consortium.
The second step of the methodology will be an identification of the core competences of partners, within their members, in order to match it with the market opportunities. These two steps will enable the consortium to work on the strategy and lead to the WP2 and WP3 activities.
